Today we will talk about a little different LANA. We found a nice big GIGAYACHT made by Benetti. Looks like Lana name is a popular name even among nautical lovers.
At 351 feet (107 meters), and with a volume exceeding 3,000 gross tons, Lana leaves no doubt that she has abundant alfresco and interior areas for rest and relaxation. Charter guests have been getting their first tastes of Mediterranean cruising this summer, and have Indian Ocean destinations among other global regions to look forward to this winter.
Lana is actually one of three new “gigayachts” from Benetti, referenced as such by the yard for her length. Exclusively available for charter through Imperial Yachts, she “clearly marks a new step in the charter industry,” says Julia Stewart, Imperial’s director. “Guests are more and more looking for a five-star, all-inclusive experience that very few superyachts in the world can offer.” In fact, Stewart says the enthusiasm surrounding Flying Fox, a 446-foot (136-meter) that Imperial manages, was so high following expectations that “presenting Lana to the market immediately after is a reply for all experienced guests ready to cross their boundaries.”
With such a large yacht, though, further with a 47-foot (14.4-meter) beam, how do you pinpoint primary attractions? Stewart narrows down several. For example, the raised pool on the sundeck (top) may be big, at 26 feet (8 meters) long, but is simple in its beauty, surrounded by teak. It additionally has a heating system, plus has its own sound system. Another example is a bio-ethanol firepit within a coffee table on an aft-deck lounge. “It’s a lovely place to chill at night with a drink and a book,” Stewart says. And who can overlook the mini armada of watertoys (above)? They include a Wooden Boats Italy limo tender, PWCs, paddleboards, diving gear, inflatables, waterskiis, wakeboards, and even golf equipment with biodegradable balls.
The first impression guests will have when stepping inside Lana is the impressive ceiling height. It’s 8’9” (2.7 meters). “Few vessels can offer the same airy spaces onboard,” she asserts. It flows through the two formal dining areas (above, with backlit onyx bases), the saloons, the cinema, and the seven VIP suites, along with the master suite. Speaking of the cinema, it has an 88-inch QLED television. Guests can indulge in loud, action-packed movies without disturbing anyone in the adjacent bridge-deck saloon. Yet another 88-inch 4K QLED television and powerful sound system are in the main saloon, as an alternate midnight-movie location.

“The beach club is probably one of the best features onboard,” Stewart continues. Encompassing 1,292 square feet (120 square meters), it opens on three sides. Furthermore, it includes a gym and two seating areas. Meanwhile, just forward, the spa (above) shows off hand-made mosaics on the massage table and in the hammam. While noting that spas are a big trend aboard large superyachts, Stewart adds, “Lana’s spa is airy, flooded with light, and gives guests direct, private access to the sea.”
Last but not least. With 31 crewmembers, she has a weekly charter rate starting at €1.7 million (about $2 million at press time).
